Hintergründe zur Halo 3 Entwicklung

halo3_special.jpg

Sgt Johnson: We’re going in … Spartans secure the area … Clear the site go, go, go.

Sgt Johnson: Spartans, at ease! Greetings fellow citizens. For those of you who don`t know what’s going on: I am Sergeant Major Avery J Johnson of the Marine Corps. Service number 48789 20114 AJ.
This here is the Master Chief, the greatest warrior that univers has ever known.

Welcome to the UNSC jugheads. You’ve signed up to the Believer Corps and it’s my duty to brief you on how you are going to need to stay alive and help the Master Chief to free Earth.

Unless you have been living underneath a rock, you grunts should know that Earth is now controlled by the Covenant. Commander Miranda Keyes has survived the invasion and is now organizing the resistance. We are getting equipment from our remaining bases in deep space but supplies are limited. Identify yourself to one of our female officers with the passcode you received from our online communications to collect your first part of your Believer kit. DO NOT share the passcode with anyone, Covenant collaborators are among us and we cannot afford to give out material to non-Believers. Those of you who are not connected to our network you can collect that information from our female officers as well. And if you do happen to be with some fellow Marines make sure you share weapons. If you happen to pick up a fuel rod cannon give it to your Marine buddies and get another. Nothing like riding a Mongoose vehicle with a buddy in the back with a nice fuel rod giving you cover fire!

Over our next few meetings, you will collect parts of the whole kit that will identify you as a part of the Believer Corps, wear it with pride! Come September 25th when our final campaign begins, this uniform will be your ticket to more equipment. As part of the Believer Corps your job is to recruit more soldiers. Don’t let me down!

Today’s briefing is on your Allies. These are the guys who will be helping keep you stay alive so listen up! Most of our own Marine forces are belly up so we are having to rely on our alien friends the Elites for battlefield support. The Elites are tough fighters, almost as good as strong as our own Master Chief here. They are masters of both alien and human weaponry as well as hand to hand combat.

Your chief Elite ally is the Arbiter- he was actually fighting against us on the first Halo installation. After losing to us he was stripped of his rank and privilege and forced to wear the ancient Armor of The Arbiter. Basically it is a last chance for a warrior to claim honor by going on a final suicide mission. While on this mission the Arbiter discovered that what he had been told was a lie, and subsequently began a civil war. It is because of this civil war that a lot of the Elites have joined us in our fight against the Covenant.

Your other two allies are also Elites.
N’tho ‘Sraom of Fleet of Retribution/Special Warfare Group/Special Operations and Usze ‘Taham of Fleet of Retribution/Special Warfare Group/Fleet Security

Do check out our online communications and top secret information about them.

Got all that? Good because you will need all the help you can get when we launch our final campaign.

This mission briefing is over, continue to monitor our online channels for the time and place of the next Briefing. Wear your uniforms! Recruit more Believers! And above all remember each of you can make a difference.

Soldiers, who are we?
Spartans: SPARTANS, Sir.

Who is our leader?
Spartans: MASTER CHIEF, Sir.

What is our motto?
Spartans: BELIEVE, BELIEVE, BELIEVE.

And what is our mission?
Spartans: FINISH THE FIGHT!

We can say no more. The enemy is afoot and may be upon us any time soon. Stay vigilant fellow Spartans. We will Finish the Fight!

Stay Tuned! Mehr Infos vom Master Chief persönlich kommen Morgen!

Halo 3 ohne Jugendfreigabe?

Monday, September 3rd, 2007

halo3_special.jpg

Sgt Johnson: Alright, we’re clear for entry. Spartans secure the area. Go go go go.

(Spartans enter the area in formation and secure it)

Sgt Johnson: Spartans at ease.
Greetings Citizens. I am sergeant Avery J. Johnson of the Marine Corp. Service number 48789 20114 AJ.
Citizens, we are in grave danger. Earth’s forces are overrun, our fleet is destroyed and the Covenant have taken Earth.
I am here on a vital recruiting mission. We need soldiers. Soldiers who are unafraid of death. Soldiers who are willing to sacrifice everything for his fellow man. Soldiers who will fight against impossible odds.
I need soldiers who believe that one person matters, that an individual can make a difference.

I look around and I see a lot of you, but who among you has steel in your souls. Who believes they can make a difference.
This is not going to be some homecoming party, people. We need heroes.
But don’t worry grunts, you won’t be fighting alone. One man will lead you. In fact, he is more than a man: He is a Hero; He is a Spartan; He is Master Chief.

(Master Chief enters the stage in smoke, Spartans line up and knee down to salut Master Chief, Master chief walks through and saluts Sgt Johnson)

Sgt Johnson: Chief, welcome back. Brother in Arms, it’s good to see you again. We are glad you could join us today. I hope the Covenant spies weren’t too shabby for you with their “hospitality”.
So, Chief, do you have any news from the front lines?

(Master Chief whispers in Sgt Johnson’s ear)

Sgt Johnson: Excellent work, Sir. I’m glad to see you haven’t lost your shine. Let’s take a look at the data.

(Halo3 Trailer is shown)

By God, it looks like we are the only ones left to hold the line. Dang nabbit, John, we need true believers to the cause to join us. We need warriors who never quit, never say die, never give up. We need warriors who believe. Warriors willing to sacrifice everything for the cause. Am I right, Marines?

Spartans: “Sir, yes, Sir.”

This is our chance to show those Squish head aliens that they could not have picked a worser enemy than the human race. Am I right, Marines?

Who are we?
Spartans: “Spartans, Sir!”

Who is our leader?
Spartans: “Masterchief, Sir!”

What is our motto?
Spartans: “Believe, believe, believe!”

What is our mission?
Spartans: “Finish the fight!”

I can’t hear you.
Spartans: “Finish the fight!”

Say it again.
Spartans: “Finish the fight!”

If you are ready to finish the final fight with the Chief and the rest of us Spartans then Join us Today. Visit the Recruitment center or any of our female officers.

We can say no more. The enemy is nearby and may be upon us at any moment.

Be vigilant, fellow Spartans. We will…
Spartans: “Finish the Fight.”

Spartans go go go go.

(Master Chief and Sgt Johnson leave the stage, Spartans move vigilantly backwards and exit)
